About NSAA
The National Ski Areas Association is the trade association for ski area owners and operators.
It represents 329 alpine resorts that account for more than 90 percent of the skier/snowboarder visits
nationwide. Additionally, it has over 400 supplier members who provide equipment, goods and
services to the mountain resort industry.
The association's primary objective is to meet the needs of ski area owners and operators

Final Report Confirms Record 2007/08 Season
LAKEWOOD, Colo., August 4, 2008 – The final Kottke End of Season Survey indicates that the
U.S. ski industry recorded 60.50 million visits in 2007/08, up 0.7 percent from the preliminary estimate
of 60.07 million, and up 2.7 percent from previous record of 58.9 million visits set in 2005/06.
