CDPHE Pollution Prevention PartnershipDescription:
The company worked with the Colorado Department of Health and Environment in a 3-year pollution prevention partnership (Arapahoe Basin also participated). The partnership received a $175,000 grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through President Clinton’s Climate Change Action Plan. Its primary goal was to reduce solid and hazardous waste and conserve water and energy and then to publish a manual designed to help all ski areas improve their environmental performances using lessons learned from the partnership.
