Aspen Skiing Co., CO
Project Title:
Public Service Announcements

Description:
The company and its Environmental Foundation sponsor environmental public service announcements on several radio stations. This program began in early 1999 with approximately 20 public service announcements designed to teach citizens about energy, waste, wildlife protection, air pollution, consumerism, pesticides, water quality, climate change, trees, appliance efficiency, and many other issues. Aspen Skiing Company then worked with local radio stations to produce and air these public service announcements over a period of several months. In general, a public service announcement would be aired two to three times per day for a week. Then, that old announcement would be replaced by a new one and the schedule would start up again.
