Convention Location

The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa |1 Resort Drive | Savannah, GA 31421

The Westin Savannah Harbor and Savannah Convention Center are located next to each other and across the river from the historic district of the city. A ferry provides easy access to all the dining and entertainment opportunities Savannah offers. The Savannah/Hilton Head Airport is 15 miles away, with readily available transport to the hotel. Savannah is in the Eastern time zone.

Transportation

There are several options for ground transportation from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport including taxis, ride share (Lyft and Uber), and rental cars. Learn more at the airport Ground Transportation page.


Parking

Parking is available at the Westin and at the Convention Center.

  • Overnight valet parking at the Westin with unlimited in and out privileges is available for $35 per vehicle/per day.
  • Self-parking at the Westin is $18 per vehicle/per day.
  • Daily parking at the Savannah Convention Center is $5 per car/per day; $30 per RV/per day. 

Ferry Schedule

Savannah is known as one of America’s most walkable cities. With a three-minute complimentary ride from the Savannah Belles Ferry, attendees can easily connect to Savannah’s famed River Street and Historic District.

Note: We have arranged for extended evening hours for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  On those nights, the ferry will run until midnight.


Weather

The current long-range forecast for our time in Savannah is for daytime temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s with evening temperatures dipping into the mid 60s. There is a slight chance for rain showers so make sure you pack a light jacket or sweater.

You can find the entire Convention schedule in Whova on your phone or tablet. Haven’t downloaded Whova yet? Check your email for an invitation with directions for downloading and use this specific invitation code for access: NSAANC23. Please note that you will need to provide the unique email address you used to register for the event to access Whova.

Welcome Reception

Monday, May 8 | 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

The Opening Welcome Reception will be held in the Harbor Ballroom and Harbor Lawn, at the Westin Savannah Harbor. This scenic location is a fantastic place to re-connect with friends and peers before the Convention kicks into gear. Casual attire is perfect for this reception.


NSAA Awards Ceremony

Wednesday, May 10 | 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Join us for the presentation of NSAA’s annual Golden Eagle, Safety, and Marketing awards. We will celebrate the best of our member resorts in the Chatham Ballroom, located in the Savannah Convention Center. Dress up for this event if you like.


Closing Night Reception

Wednesday, May 10 | 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday’s evening reception will immediately follow the NSAA Awards Ceremony on the River Lawn at the Westin Savannah Harbor. Come for a drink and appetizer while you reflect on the Convention and connect with friends before heading into the city for a meal.

We highly recommend making reservations in advance.


COVID Precautions

Please know that the risk for contracting COVID, especially at large gatherings, still exists. At this time, there are no COVID protocols mandated by the local municipality, the Savannah Convention Center or by the Westin. However, that could change. If protocols are put in place prior to or during our event, they will be communicated to attendees and enforced. Bring a mask just in case! And, please feel free to wear a mask if you like.

If you feel unwell, do not attend! Additionally, if you are at all uncomfortable attending, we will gladly issue you a refund. Your travel providers (hotels, etc.) will have their own cancellation policies.

As a courtesy to other attendees – during and after – the event, if you test positive for COVID, please inform us at nsaa@nsaa.org as soon as possible, as well as anyone you were in close contact with for an extended period. This information will be treated with strict confidentiality by NSAA – your name will not be used.
