485 U.S. Ski Resorts in Operation During 2006-2007 Season
LAKEWOOD, Colo.– July 30, 2007–NSAA reports 485 ski areas operated last season,
according to the 2006/07 Kottke National End of Season Survey. Below is the history of the
number of ski areas during the past 20 years.
