The Mountain Foundation is a 501c3 scholarship fund founded in 2019 by the National Ski Areas Association. NSAA believes in growing and diversifying the ski and outdoor recreation industries, and in preparing the next generation of leaders for the challenges ahead. This scholarship fund will give our best and brightest ski industry employees increased access to education with the goal of taking their ski careers to the next level.
Employees of NSAA ski area, associate and affiliate members can apply to receive funds to attend select educational opportunities.
Events and Deadlines
Due to the fact that we will be doing a virtual Winter Conference and Trade Show instead of an in-person show this year, we will be accepting applications to receive a COMPLIMENTARY login for the event, versus reimbursing attendance fees. Please see below for an application form. Deadline for submittal is January 15, 2021.

Qualifying employees of NSAA ski areas, affiliate and associated members can apply to receive a grant to attend select educational ski industry events across the country. Deadline is January 15, 2021.
